G. MOU WITH WILDLIFE WORKS

The Forestry Commission (FC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Wildlife Works Carbon LLC in 2022 to jointly develop REDD+ projects, which will contribute to the Nationally Determined Contributions, preserve the forests, and maximize benefits to the communities.

The proposed areas are the Kyabobo Nature Reserve, Digya National Park and Chai River Forest Reserve

 

Initial Feasibility assessment of proposed areas is on going.
